Mercury Celestial Paperweight

Glass Eye Studio

With one side of bright white glass and the other of a rich maroon, Mercury floats encased in clear glass with a beveled front for viewing. Small particles of glow-in-the-dark glass light the planet at night.

A planet with extremes, the bright side of Mercury can be hot enough to melt lead while the polar regions dip to 235 degrees below zero.

In addition to glass, a variety of materials are incorporated in the production of this paperweight including dichroic glass, fine gold, and the Glass Eye signature ingredient: ash from the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. Each paperweight is individually handmade, ensuring that each piece of art glass produced by Glass Eye Studio is as unique as the individual who collects it.

Comes in a blue velvet box. Dimensions: 3" diameter.

All items are handmade and subject to availability. Shipping times will vary!
