To their many credits are two month long exhibitions in the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution, over twenty-five National awards of excellence in wearable art and three Niche Awards, widely considered the Oscars of American Craft. Kriska has received commissions from the International Olympic Committee, the Hyatt Regency, the Hilton Hotels, Takashimaya Gallery in Tokyo, Intel, and The Boeing Corporation. Jan Mayer, co-founder of Kriska enjoys writing articles, conducting workshops on marketing art and is available as a motivational speaker for art guilds, schools, etc. and is a consultant for artists and craftspeople working in all media. Jan has appeared on national television several times demonstrating his copyrighted Kriska scarf tying systems that eliminate the need for complicated knots.
