"In my mind I see a sunset, light off the water or sea smoke. I can see it finished and I make it."

Sue is a lifelong artist, starting as a watercolorist as a child. This experience taught her critical color theory she uses to this day. She moved on to creating stained glass art of all kinds for many years. Since 1993, she has focused on creating kaleidoscopes full time. Her work includes exquisite oil-cell kaleidoscopes, as well as her signature stained-glass barrel styles, all copper soldered and decorated with special glass details. Sue works from her home/studio in Kennebunk, Maine, where she is surrounded by the nature that inspires her.
